About Your Role
As a Backend Developer you will be part of one of our fullstack product teams, focusing on building reliable, scalable, and high-performing services that power our platform. While the team covers the full development spectrum, your primary focus will be on the server-side logic behind Car Rental Gateway’s products and internal tools. You will be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle from architecture and implementation to testing and monitoring in production.
About You
You have experience with Go, Node.js, or PHP
You excel at writing code that is readable, testable, maintainable, and performant
You possess in-depth knowledge of web technologies and a good understanding of web services
You understand how backend services are built and run in the cloud from containerization to orchestration
You have experience working with AI-assisted development — using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot for planning, coding, and code reviews
You’re comfortable communicating in English

This position is 100% onsite and based at our Tartu office.
